What a great night! Being a guest of the Celebrity Waiter Kick-Off party made us feel like movie stars as we stood atop of the Museum Tower Dallas! The rooms were pretty, "baller" (as JT would say) with marble stone counter tops and sky view rooms.
This event was in benefit of Family Gateway. This is a local organization that is "leading the Dallas community to end child homelessness by providing innovative and comprehensive housing, social, and educational services to homeless children and their families (http://www.facebook.com/FamilyGatewayInc/info)."
We encourage you to watch this video created by The Family Gateway. It's important to remember that no matter what bad situation you may be in, there's always someone out there with something twice as bad. Be fortunate everyday with what you have and always take the time to reach out to those less fortunate. You can make a difference in someone's life by just making that first step to volunteer or just simply giving a small donation to help those in need.
Our night ended with a great chat and pic with Co-Chairs Courtney and Allison Edwards from Where Wear In The City, which is a local fashion and media blog in Dallas. We consider these girls the "twins with the golden heart" as Courtney and Allison have been featured in many blogs, events and hosted a number of parties for local charities.
Overall, this event was a +1 on our charts and we encourage anyone to volunteer in helping The Family Gateway.
